License plate recognition parking management system consists of software and hardware. Software is the control system which is the core of license plate recognition. The system has license plate extraction, image processing, feature extraction, license plate symbol recognition, license plate number recognition and so on.
So what are the hardware of the license plate recognition system?
1. The Loop Detector
The induction coils in license plate recognition systems is less well known. The induction coil is buried in the ground. In general, there is a deceleration zone in front of the induction coil. When the vehicle slows down to an induction coil, the camera captures an image of the vehicle. Information is fed back into the recognition system. The identification system transmits the information to the display screen and controls the intelligent gate to complete the lifting and lowering.
2. License plate recognition parking system camera
The license plate recognition camera is not an ordinary closed-circuit television camera, but a specially modified hd camera with built-in LED indicator light, which can automatically adjust the brightness for image collection under dim light conditions through intelligent supplementary light.
It also works well in heavy rain and sun exposure.
3. Intelligent barrier gate
The intelligent barrier gate of license plate recognition is fully automated without manual control. Unlike the traditional barrier gate, it is operated by the recognition system.
4. LED display screen
The LED display of license plate recognition is linked to the control system. When the recognition system extracts the vehicle data and processes it, the vehicle information, including license plate, fee deduction and parking time, will be displayed on the display.
