ANPR parking system is a latest, widely use and cost effective off-street car park management solution, it can use with the automatic payment machine and it is widely used in many places,including supermarkets, retail parks, hotels, hospitals and leisure centre.
How ANPR/LPR car parking management system works
1. Enter procedure
A car was parked in front of the entrance and the barrier. Sensors detect its presence and special cameras automatically identify and record the license plate number, date and entrance time. The remote management system captures the data provided by the camera and saves it to the database. The entrance barrier is raised to allow drivers to enter the parking lot. Once the vehicle passes the safety sensor, the barrier is automatically lowered.
2. Exit procedure
A vehicle stops at the exit, in front of barrier. The sensor detects its presence and the dedicated camera verifies the number plate against payment information, or the listing of the vehicle on the database (e.g. subscribers). The management system validates correct payment, or entitlement to park without payment to enable exit. The exit barrier rises, allowing the driver to leave the car park. The barrier lowers automatically once a vehicle passes the safety sensor.
Automatic payment machine
The customer enters the license plate number or ticket through the autonomous payment terminal installed in the elevator, confirms the parking and charging information of the vehicle according to the vehicle picture displayed by the system and the ticket is scanned to show how long it parks, that pays the parking fee by cash or card and the payment is completed. After that, the system reserves a certain time (15 minutes). During the reserved time, the driver drives out and does not need to park again to pay the fee, so he can drive out of the parking lot without stopping.
