A South African energy company recently announced that it will explore the battery swap station market to help the development of electric transportation in South Africa.

The company plans to install 1,000 battery swap stations in major cities in South Africa in the next two years to support the use of electric motorcycles and electric tricycles. South Africa's transportation infrastructure is relatively weak. As a fast charging solution, battery swap station can effectively alleviate the problem of insufficient charging facilities.
In addition, the company also plans to cooperate with local electric vehicle manufacturers to jointly promote South Africa's green transportation transformation.
