Recently, the first batch of smart parking lots officially opened in Kigali, Rwanda's capital, injecting new momentum into alleviating the city's parking challenges. During the trial period, parking utilization rates increased by 40% compared to traditional parking lots, and average parking times were reduced to 8 minutes. Project leaders stated that 10 new smart parking lots will be added in commercial centers and residential areas over the next two years, gradually building a smart parking network and contributing to a more efficient urban transportation system in Kigali.
