Recently, Foshan core business district parking lot launched a smart upgrade pilot, focusing on the introduction of a new generation of IoT geomagnetic sensor system.

The system uses high-precision magnetic sensors and low-power Bluetooth technology to capture vehicle entry, parking, and departure in real time. The data collection error is controlled within 3 seconds and synchronized to the parking lot management cloud platform through the 5G network. Through the background visualization interface, managers can intuitively view data such as parking space utilization rate in each area and traffic distribution during peak hours, and dynamically adjust guidance signs and increase patrol personnel based on this.

 

Data from the first week of the pilot showed that the parking lot turnover rate increased by 23%, and the average time for car owners to find a parking space was shortened to 4 minutes, providing a replicable technical template for the subsequent large-scale promotion of smart management models in parking lots in business districts across the city.
